What Does Your Child Wish For This Christmas?

Can you remember spending a Christmas, as a young child, without writing a single Santa letter? I know I certainly can’t. Every year that I was young enough to still believe in Santa Claus, I remembering writing dear old Santa Claus a Santa letter. This Santa letter was always filled with wishes for toys and candy of all shapes and sizes. I loved writing dear old Father Christmas a letter and there are probably a dozen or more letters to Santa Claus. What about you? Did you ever write a Santa letter?

I can’t think of a single child (who celebrates Christmas) who did not write a Santa letter every year. My brother wrote letters to Santa Claus, my cousins wrote letters to Santa Claus, and all my friends at school wrote Father Christmas letters too. Let’s face it, a Santa letter is one of the basic traditions of Christmas. Be it a straight, postmarked letter, or a high tech email letter, a Santa letter will be on the to do list of every child this Christmas season.

What about your children? Are your children going to write a Santa letter this Christmas? What are they going to write to Santa Claus about? Will your children fill their Santa letter with lists and dreams of toys? Maybe your child dreams of a new barbie doll? Or perhaps your child is more into the latest Tonka truck? Will your child include wishes for family members in his Santa letter? Some children like to write to Santa Claus and tell him all about what Mommy and Daddy would like for Christmas, or what Baby Brother would enjoy getting for Christmas. Is this what your child includes in his Santa letter?

And speaking of giving, what would your child say if instead of merely sending off a Santa letter like he does every Christmas, he received a Santa letter in return, from Santa Claus himself? What would your child say to that? I know that when I was a child, if I had received a personalized Santa letter from Santa Claus, I would have jumped for joy! I would have displayed my Santa letter on the fireplace mantle for all my friends to see. What would your child do if he received a personalized Santa letter from Santa Claus?

Out of all the Christmas traditions floating around the world today, I can’t think of anything that would leave every child I know basking in the magic that is Christmas. Except for a personalized Santa letter from Santa Claus. After all, what child wouldn’t love to receive a letter from Father Christmas? Children all over the world write letters to Santa Claus every single Christmas! Some years, children even write several letters to their favorite Christmas icon: Santa Claus. But how many children ever receive an extra special Santa letter in return? I don’t think many children receive a Santa letter. And that, my friend, is what makes a Santa letter from Santa Claus all the more special.

Some Wonderful Train Bed Suggestions For A Preschooler

Decorating a child’s room is among the great excitement of being a mother or father. Locomotives are a well-liked decorating concept, especially with little boys. They also provide a wide range of versatility being a ornament, since you can select a number of different palettes as well as designs, from Thomas the Tank Engine to and old-fashioned, steam-engine set up. Present your toddler a train bed inspired room for him to value and savor. Below are a few tips to help you accomplish this.

Hang some floating shelves on the wall. Place toy trains on the shelves, along with some books regarding trains, including “The Polar Express” or perhaps books showcasing Thomas the Tank Engine.

Put some train bedding just like a train-themed comforter to the bed, as well as train-themed pillow shams, pillows and sheets. This may get your infant in the state of mind for trains and also add an instant train feel to the room.

Paint some trains on a wall without shelves. To choose a pattern, look in train coloring books. Run a charcoal pencil down the lines of the train in the coloring book, then transfer it to the wall simply by pressing the page on the wall and rubbing slightly.

Build a model train set in the center of the room, on a train table or any other hard surface area. Make sure it is age-appropriate.

Add framed snapshots of trains to the walls. For those who have a railroad or railroad park nearby, have pictures of your baby near trains and make use of those to beautify the walls. Railway crossing signs, themed peel-and-stick decals or perhaps a Thomas growth chart can also decorate the walls.

Accessorize the room with images of Thomas. Make use of a Thomas lamp, bank, light switch plate, tissue box, coat rack or even tailored sign with your child’s name. Clocks and nightlights are other alternatives. Exhibit his Thomas toys on the shelf where they are easy to get at and boost the decor.
