The 6 men used the seaside lift to get down to the beach however what they didn’t expect was the lift to get stuck half way down, then with the doors open to drop 100ft to the floor. If falling that distance wasn’t enough the men were now trapped as the lift was the only means in and out of the beach. Thankfully the men did have there phones and so called for help and seaside rescue came for them. Only one man needed to go to hospital after the fall and one of the other men stated they still managed to get to the pub on time.
