How to turn an ordinary dining table into a gorgeous display

Do you plan for guests to sit at your table for dinner, or are you using it merely as a place to put food? If the former, you’ll need to ensure the centerpiece isn’t too high; otherwise, your guests will be stretching their necks just to make eye contact with one another. Remember, more is not always better. When dining tables are too busy they could indicate bad taste.

If you still don’t trust your creative sense, don’t be afraid to ask for help. While the Internet provides great ideas for dining table decorations and centerpieces, you can always ask a friend or neighbor for advice. Still not convinced? Visit the nearest crafts store and ask a clerk for his or her recommendations. Don’t forget, asking is always a best practice. Don’t be anxious about the task at hand. Centerpieces should feel harmonious with their dining tables.
