The affiliate provides the product and runs all logistical aspects. This is where the writing comes in. Affiliates handle all of the business aspects, and the writer provides the marketing, by writing reader-friendly articles.

A multitude of benefits are inherent in this method. The writer no longer has to cope with vague client requests, wondering if their article will fulfill the client’s aims. The relationship between an affiliate and writer is completely transparent. Writers know exactly what they’re marketing and can use their skills to target the consumer group that is most likely to buy.

Lack of a strong business model is unfortunately a common weakness among skilled writers. But depending on others to do good business doesn’t usually work. Affiliate marketing fills this need admirably. Its excellent business model allows writers to write, with the assurance of steady profits.
